Death as a side product of life. Writer Neil LaBute makes his characters do the most extreme things. Driven by love, fear and revenge. LaBute explains the complexity of evil in everyday life. The Medea’s and Argamemnon’s of nowadays are telling their stories. The examples of Michael Sandel are forming a contrast to LaButes stories. Sandel is giving the life of a human being an economic value and asks questions about the justice of murder. Can we understand both of them somehow?
The performance was presented in an old train station building in Zwolle and rewarded with the ‘Rabobank jong talent award’. The performance played during the finals festival in may 2014. In Theater Odeon Zwolle, 4th of September 2014. At the Stadsfestival 5th till 8th September 2014.
